About ApexTool.
ApexTool helps readers identify AI and productivity software for a specific task and find the details worth checking before they sign up.
The site currently covers writing, research, automation, meetings, video, shared knowledge and audio. The tool index contains short notes grounded in official sources, not a comprehensive market survey or a list of winners.
What is published and what is not
Our coverage combines official-source research with clearly labelled practical examples. The Julius guide includes a checked, 24-order synthetic-data demonstration. We have not published product rankings or broad accuracy benchmarks. A product’s inclusion does not mean it is suitable for every reader or better than an alternative.
AI assistance
AI assistance is used for research organisation, drafting and editing. Product claims still need source checks. AI-generated text is not proof of first-hand experience or a substitute for inspecting the underlying evidence.
Funding
ApexTool uses affiliate links as one possible source of funding. The ElevenLabs card contains a labelled affiliate link that may earn us a commission from qualifying purchases. The Fillout, Granola and Julius guides also include disclosed affiliate links. Ordinary official-source links are not affiliate links. A commercial relationship is not evidence that we have tested a tool or that it suits every reader.
Questions and corrections
Send a specific question or correction through the contact page. The research methodology explains how product notes are sourced and how future tests should be distinguished from research.
